Just because you did something wrong in the past doesn’t mean you can’t advocate against it now. It doesn’t make you a hypocrite. You just grew. Don’t let people use your past to invalidate your current mindset.
men are allowed to love men. a man is allowed to love another man in his entirety. to be soft and affectionate with him. to laugh with him and hug him and fight for him. wash the dishes with him and cuddle with him and read an entire bookshelf of novels with him. take him out to fancy restaurants, ride rollercoasters with him and hold hands with him on the beach. he’s allowed to take care of him when he’s ill, slow dance with him in the kitchen, build a family with him and make love to him in a home of their own.
